BROW TATTOOING

  • Your Cosmetic Tattoo appointment can take up to 3 hours. You must allow this time during your treatment as the service cannot be rushed. Appointments must be strictly attended to alone and each client's treatment duration varies for various reasons.

  • Up to 6-8 weeks. Aftercare instructions must be followed to achieve best results possible. Aftercare and instructions will be provided to you post procedure.

  • Please allow 6-8 weeks until your touch up visit. Your touch up visit is very important and just as important as your first visit, to allow perfecting your eyebrows. Brow Tattoo is a 2-step process and you cannot expect the finished result without your first touch-up. Combination Brows may not require a touch up until your annual visit, however Microblading is a 2 step process.

  • Annual touch up visits are every 6-12 months depending on skin type. Each results vary.

  • Please allow 4 weeks until waxing your eyebrows. Wax should be aimed around the feather stroke to avoid fading strokes and pigment.

  • This method is the most natural looking form of eyebrow tattooing. Super fine ‘hair like’ strokes are tattooed into the skin behind existing brow hair to create density, definition and to help fill in gaps for the perfect brow.

With results lasting up to 12-18months, keep your brows updated with current trends without having to commit to a ‘traditional’ brow tattoo.

  • Powder-fill gives a more defined, solid appearance, and is usually a longer-lasting option, whereas hair stroke, as the name suggests, involves cosmetic tattooing on tiny lines/strokes in a design that gives the appearance of hair. Hair-strokes alone, with no background, do require more re-touching than other methods.

A good, longer lasting option can be a combination of these, where a lighter powder-fill will be done at the first appointment, then hair-strokes over the top, to give texture and a realistic, hair like appearance. We can discuss these options and what would give you the best result and your consultation. Both techniques are the same price.

  • No. Our touch up service is only for our existing clients. If you have had your brows done elsewhere, we do not go over them until they have completely faded. Once your brows are ready to be re-done, full prices apply.

  • If you have had your brows done previously, please send through a photo in natural lighting without any make up on. We will determine whether we can cover them.

  • Your skin will take a total of 6 weeks to completely heal and show true results.

  • Pain threshold levels differ amongst every individual. Every person is different in how well they tolerate pain. Some clients feel nothing, some feel the tattooing slightly and very few feel it as mildly painful.
Numbing cream is used before and throughout the tattooing procedure. This helps you to not feel the full effect of tattooing, or to not feel it at all!
I make sure throughout the process that you are as comfortable as possible.
For those who are more sensitive to pain; we can apply anaesthetic more often throughout the treatment and leave it on for longer to ensure you feel as little pain as possible!

  • Generally speaking below is an overall guide on how long your brow tattooing will last
    Microblading + Shading: 9-18 months
    Ombré/Powder/Combination: 12-24 months

Pigments are not implanted into the skin as deep as traditional tattoos, the area will naturally fade overtime. Skincare routine will also affect the lasting effect of the pigment: patients who tan, uses products with AHA or Glycolic Acid with fade faster as your skin will resurface faster. Each individual’s color retention within the skin will vary.

To maintain the brows looking fresh, it is advised every 12 months to refresh your colour and keep your shape defined and as you like it.

  • Please disclose any medically conditions when making a booking. We may require you to bring additional information from your GP to your consultation.

Oily skin does not hold pigment as well as other skin types. Strokes may not heal as crisp and clients may experience less pigment retention. An additional session may also be required to perfect it. Ombré Brows and Powdered Brows may be a better option for you.

BROW LAMINATION

  • Brow Lamination is basically a perm for your brows, there are 2 different solutions that are used to open the bonds of the hair and manipulate them into a shape which gives them a more fuller looking brow. Then we add brow dye / tint if required to fill any gaps & step 3 is a type of hydration/ nourishment oil to keep the hair healthy.

  • 6-8 weeks is the recommended time to leave between laminations. We need to allow the time between for the growth of new hair. We have to remember that we are doing a chemical treatment so we need to ensure that no over processing can occur.

  • Yes, as long as it is 6 weeks after your tattoo session

  • Unfortunately, you can not. This service doesn’t harm mum or bubs at all, we just don’t recommended it through the industry because when pregnant your bodies hormones are heightened, including hair growth for some women, so the end result is not guaranteed.

BROW SCULPT

  • Tint - Is more of a natural approach for the brow, lasting anywhere between 3-4 weeks on the hair & up to 5 days on the skin.

Brow dye - Is a newer formulation to the brow world, lasting between 6-8 weeks on the hair and anywhere between 7-10 days on the skin.

Please keep in mind that these are not suited to everyone, the longevity of the product depends on factors such as skin type, skin care used on face, lifestyle etc.

  • We do not recommend waxing over areas that have been in contact with active skin treatments in the past 7 days before your appointment to avoid skin grazing.

  • We do not recommend having your brows tinted if you have just had a fresh spray tan as this will cause discolouration of the tint. It is recommended to have your Brow Sculpt done prior to your spray tan appointment.

DERMAPLANING

  • Dermaplaning is a non-invasive treatment that utilises a surgical scalpel to gently remove the skin surface. It removes the top layers of dead skin along with fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) leaving your skin with a smooth appearance and radiant glow.

  • -Increases absorption of topical products.
    - Diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
    - Removes fine vellus hair (peach fuzz).
    - Improves mild acne scarring.
    - No downtime.
    - Removes dead skin cells, leaving the skin immediately smooth and vibrant.
    - Allows for make-up to be applied flawlessly.
    - Instant results.

  • This is our most frequently asked question and the answer is NO. Your hair after Dermaplaning will grow back exactly the same colour and thickness as it was previously. We do not manipulate or change the structure of the hair follicle. Re-growth after dermaplaning may feel slightly different because the hair has been cut straight across and you may feel that hair growth coming back is thicker, however, that’s not the case.

  • The number of treatments required will depend on the client's skin type and end goal. Typically, we recommend between 4-6 treatments spaced out 3-4 weeks apart. However, dermaplaning can also be done as a stand-alone treatment as it works great for those who have an event on. The treatment provides no downtime and gives instant results.
